Western Flyers is a Community outreach program with the mission of:
WFYP is a community outreach program dedicated to the empowerment of our youth by providing environmental and safety education, and affordable recreational outings through a series of fun, safe, and developmentally rewarding programs. WFYP provides academic support, leadership and mentorship opportunities. Sports and fitness opportunities, offered through outdoor adventure programs and BMX Racing, build self-esteem and a sense of community. Through its consideration to provide quality youth development programs, the vision, mission and drive of WFYP satisfies a critical need to offer positive alternatives to children who would not otherwise be exposed to such activities.

We will do this by:
- Promoting an active outdoor lifestyle with a focus on cycling activities.
- Providing fun and affordable recreational outings in a safe and nurturing environment to kids that may not otherwise be exposed to such activities.
- Empowering our youth by providing environmental and safety education in a team-oriented atmosphere.
- Unlocking our kid’s potential by stressing the importance of personal responsibility, accountability, and a positive attitude in everything they do.
How we will work with the Community:
- Sponsoring, scheduling and conducting outdoor activities for kids
- Loaning bicycles to kids so they can participate in cycling activities
- Promoting and sponsoring a BMX racing team
- Helmet and bike safety, including the distribution of (donated) helmets
- Leadership/Mentorship programs through a variety of outdoor experiences, including trail and park maintenance
- Earn a bike/bike recyclery program
- Partnering with COPMOBA for trail maintenance activities
